According to our customers, nice and clean rooms and delicious breakfast. That is why we have been recommending the Römerhof to our customers for years. My personal experience concerns food to go in Corona times. Ordered in November and had 2 totally delicious menus; 1x a mega-delicious goose and 1x boiled beef. It was really great and the service was really friendly.

Good food and quick service

Hello, we have ordered food "to go" because due to the current situation (Corona closure of restaurants in the hotels, only take-away food) it was not possible to stay in the restaurant. The food (oven-fresh pork knuckle) was very, very tasty. - everything fresh and homemade. An absolute pleasure! The portion was very sufficient. The communication when ordering the dishes was pleasant, polite and courteous. Everything was made available punctually at the agreed time, so that the food was still at a comfortable temperature at home despite the take away. We definitely like to order again and can only recommend it!

Dinner 2 Go Checked the delivery program today. Haxe and Stephanie roast. Was very pleasantly surprised. Called the day before and ordered for 19.00. Punctually around 1900 the messenger was at the door. The food was hot and very tasty. Almost like in a restaurant. We only had to limit ourselves to the wheat. We recommend!

Supplement to my review v. 11/12/2020 and the answer to it: For your information: I am a member of the tour group and not the person who made the booking. I would not have paid the 80% cancellation invoice anyway, but had the matter clarified by a lawyer (if only because the terms and conditions were "not" communicated when booking! But again: The bike tour was canceled because many of the older participants between 60 and 80 years had health concerns related to the corona. One should accept that. All the hotels understood the situation and wished us all the best - only the Römerhof not, although the trip and the rooms were canceled 8 (!) Weeks in advance. 80% cancellation fees are absolutely disproportionate and were not communicated when booking. The general terms and conditions of the hotel (nicely hidden behind a cookie banner) are even designed in such a way that cancellation fees are charged regardless of deadlines - even if the cancellation is made 1 year in advance. You can find a travel company or hotel with such gag conditions. Contrary to what was claimed, no offer was made for a discounted twin room for single use, and no cancellation was made of a booking option (subject to a surcharge). You can save yourself the cheeky advice about travel cancellation insurance. The non-conclusion has less of a financial background (as assumed between the lines), but rather the fact that we have never experienced such customer-unfriendly procedures in all these years and, by the way, such an insurance does not apply in the event of "health concerns". The closing words of the answer to my review, "Stay Healthy", are just plain cynical under the circumstances.

Stayed on Sundays with our 2 boys in the beer garden. Nice ambience, nice and child-friendly service. Super Service. Fast service. Delicious dishes and great play options for kids with sandpit, tractors and a small play house. We felt very comfortable.

We were a guest at the hotel last week on Wednesday on our bike tour along the Main and were very satisfied. There was a storage facility for the bikes. The room was pleasant and quiet. The food was delicious and the hosts were very friendly (we had a pleasant evening together). Breakfast was equally good. We can definitely recommend this hostel.

Nice place and restaurant friendly staff in centre of a beautiful town

Yesterday we celebrated our wedding in the Römerhof and were absolutely thrilled! The food was unbelievably delicious, the service was great and you realized how much effort was put into making us happy. We will be back, even so to the food. Thanks again for this nice day!

Hotel room and break fast are gud and price is very less. Good village and wall separating Germans and romans. Lot of adventures can be done in summer..

Cozy inn with nice service and nice accommodation. Also nearby is worth seeing.
